Information Asymmetry and Industry 4.0 among Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Malaysian Halal Industry

This study attempts to investigate the participant(s) halal industry information asymmetry issues and their intention, if any, mitigate it. Additionally, this also investigates moderating effects of perceptions towards 4.0 adoption intentions using asymmetry. research is exploratory research. We adapted questionnaire based on “Agency Theory Technology Acceptance Model” by combining management technology literature into single-sourced literature. The SmartPLS software “Partial Least Squares (PLS)” modelling 2-step approach test model development. concepts private information, hidden lack perfect have facilitated these companies’ top issues. results show that has intention reduce through as they perceived useful, easy use, cost affordable, provides a high system content quality. Selain itu, kajian juga menyiasat persepsi terhadap penggunaan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan telah dan penerokaan menggabungkan daripada teori Agensi Model Penerimaan Teknologi pembinaan soal selidik. data dikumpulkan dianalisasi menggunakan perisian SmartPLS.
